I am a gift to others
Just like the wrapping of a gift can be deceiving, so our outsides can be as well. Luckily, it is not the outside that counts. It is the inside. And that is what the learners will discover and unpack in the Tall Trees journey - all the gifts that are inside of them and how to identify with, relate to, and also utilize them.

I Think Differently
We all think differently, and that's OK!
In this lesson, we discuss how each tree type thinks. The kids also relate with and reflect on their Forces Within - their unique strengths.
.

I can be myself
The theme of this lesson is authenticity. Each kid engages with his/her Fields of Greatness - the areas in which he/she is a born leader.
We discuss peer pressure and how this can be positive and negative. The learners also share opinions on how they define a good friend.

I Work Differently
In this lesson, we discuss different work ethics. The learners will complete an exercise to determine if they are inclined to work too hard, too little, or maybe just enough.
They also engage with their Frostbite (stressors or dislikes) for clues on job speed and work environments that may be uncomfortable for their tree type.

How I Speak & Listen
This lesson focuses on communication. The learners identify & reflect on their communication style, called Forest Fires. They watch a video that describes aggressive, assertive, passive, and passive-aggressive conflict management styles and is tasked to identify with which style they relate best.

What If I Don't Agree?
This lesson focuses on the learners’ Fast Forward lists - what is challenging for them. In the previous lesson, the 5 types of conflict management were discussed. This lesson expands specifically on assertiveness. Assertiveness is the only type of conflict resolution that yields positive results.

My Needs Are Important
In this last lesson, the learners discover their Fertilizer - their needs that if fulfilled, help them to grow and experience wellness. In other words - each learner's emotional or love needs.
